ANNIE AUDITIONS

- Character roles for ANNIE will be for ages 8 & older
- Production dates for ANNIE will be September 17-27, 2026
- Auditions will be held Saturday, August 1, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
- Please sign up for an audition time by using the button above.
- The audition will consist of two parts: singing and dance.
- Plan and prepare a short song (1 minute or less) that highlights your voice.
- We prefer songs from a Broadway show or Disney songs for younger performers.
- Bring sheet music for your audition song in the correct key. Class Act will provide an accompanist.
- Please plan to stay for a dance audition after you sing your prepared song.
- Rehearsals for ANNIE will begin Monday, August 10, 2026.
CAST OF CHARACTERS:
Annie - a street-wise orphan; she is eventually taken in by Oliver Warlocks. Spunky, friendly, big-voiced. Age 10-12
Warbucks - a successful businessman with a warm heart. Rich, stiff-collared, bullish. Age 40-55
Grace Farrell - Faithful secretary to Mr. Oliver Warbucks. Poised, sweet, gentle Age: 20-35
Orphans - other girls in the orphanage with Annie. Includes: Molly, Kate, Tessie, Pepper, July, and Duffy. - Age: 6-13
Servants - servants at the Warbucks mansion. Includes: Drake, Mrs. Pugh, Mrs. Greer, Cecille, and Annette
Miss Hannigan - the orphanage matron who hates children but is fond of liquor. Very disillusioned, bitter, and cold. Age: 30-45
Rooster - Miss Hannigan's no-good brother looking for a quick buck. A sleazy, slick con-man. Age: 25-35
Lily - Rooster's girlfriend, who is also out for a quick buck. She is considered to be a floozy and bimbo. Age: 20-30
Bert Healy - the ultimate radio personality. He helps Annie by broadcasting about the search for her birth parents. Age: 30-45
Roosevelt - the 32nd President of the United States - a Democrat and friend of Warbucks. Age: 40-60
Ensemble - Servants, the Boylan Sisters, Cabinet Members, Hooverville Citizens
