- Character roles for THE PRINCE OF EGYPT will be for ages 9 & older
- Production dates for THE PRINCE OF EGYPT will be April 9-19, 2026
- Auditions will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
- Please sign up for an audition time by using the button above.
- Plan and prepare a short song (1 minute or less) that highlights your voice.
- We prefer songs from a Broadway show or Disney songs for younger performers.
- Bring sheet music for your audition song in the correct key. Class Act will provide an accompanist.
- Rehearsals for THE PRINCE OF EGYPT will begin Monday, February 23, 2026.
CHARACTER ROLES:
Moses - playful, but with a soulful core. Ages throughout the show. A high tenor
Ramses - a prince of Egypt, heir to the throne. Ages throughout the show. A strong tenor
Young Miriam - Moses's Hebrew sister. Good singing voice. age 9-12
Tuya - Moses's Egyptian mother - regal, wise, deeply loving. Alto voice
Seti - The Pharaoh of Egypt
Hotep - the High Priest of Egypt - pompous and self-important. Strong baritone
Tzipporah - A Midian princess. Must dance well.
Miriam - Moses's Hebrew sister. A strong voice.
Aaron - Moses's Hebrew brother. Tenor or baritone.
Nefertari - Ramses's wife and his Queen of Egypt. High alto.
Jethro - The High Priest of Meridian and Tzipporah's father. A high baritone.
Leah - One of Tzipporah's younger sisters.
Keturah - One of Tzipporah's younger sisters.
Ensemble - Singers and dancers who portray Hebrew slaves, members of the Egyptian court, Priests and Midianites.
